I (Deborah Pike) am registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) which requires me to disclose how I will be managing your personal data. 

These are the terms and conditions you agree to be bound by when using this site. You are navigating this website at your own risk and Debbie Pike/ Debbieworld disclaims any responsibility for any potential damages that may be incurred.

The below will ensure that you have visibility around the types of data I am collecting from you, why I am collecting it, what I intend to do with it, who I will share it with, how I will store it, how long I will keep it and how I will destroy it.

When you voluntarily supply me with your personal details, they are stored and processed for 4 reasons:

1. I need to collect personal information about you in order to provide the best possible readings. Your requesting a reading and my agreement to provide it constitutes a contract. You can, of course, refuse to provide the information, but if you were to do that I would not be able to provide the session/s.
2. I have a “legitimate interest” in collecting that information, because without it I can't carry out my services effectively.
3. It is important that I can contact you in order to confirm your appointments with me, or to update you on matters related to your reading. This again constitutes “legitimate interest”, but this time it is your legitimate interest.
4. Provided that I have your consent, I may occasionally send you general information connected to our session/s in the form of articles, advice or newsletters, usually upon your request. You may withdraw this consent at any time – please let me know by any convenient method.

I will retain your data for 7 years after your most recent appointment. After 7 years, this data will be shredded. If you are a subscriber your information will be held securely until such time as you choose to unsubscribe.

Your information and contact details are stored on a password-protected computer or a password-protected smartphone.

I will never share your data with anyone who does not need access to it without your written consent, unless there is a legal obligation to do so. Only I will have routine access to your data. Should I need to share your data with another professional in order to offer you the best possible care, your consent would be required first.

Readings can only be recorded by Debbie Pike and will only be shared with the client. Readings will not be shared publicly.

You have the right to see what personal data of yours I hold at any time, and should there be any factual errors within this data, I can correct these. I want you to be absolutely confident that I am treating your personal data securely.

You have the right to ask for your data to be deleted at any time. Please contact me on the email address below if you wish your data to be deleted.

If you feel that your data may be being mishandled in some way, you have a right to contact the “Data Controller”. As a sole trader, I am the Data Controller and can be contacted directly via the contact details below:
